In all honesty I feel like Bizzy bone is wasting away his talent. The whole "Jamtv" thing, just doesn't seem like him . Its like he is trying his hardest to be industry. Thats not Bizzy. Yeah I get it, the celebrity lifestyle revolves around Instagram, hangtags and YouTube channels. Never the less , what made BONE stand out above the rest is that rapid-fire darkness mixed with the light of hope. This new album is not a " bad" album, infact its quite impressive if this is (what bizzy claims...) actually Self Produced. But yet again , the album suffers with same way with bizzy trying to make a project that has that Mainstream appeal! It doesn't help matters that nearly ALL the tracks openings seem to sound the same as the last. Single Instrument strings and over used piano samples that sound like Bizzy has been Downloading Free Samples from looperman. None of the Instrumentals seem to be recorded live or genuine acoustics. Which is ashame because Bizzy has proved he has a much better growth with a live band. And which brings to only wishing he would finally give us a Full Live Acoustic LP. The opening track is prob my favourite, but thats only because what follows seems to be a repeat of itself. Bizzy has some incredible flows and I got a chill hearing Bizzy take us back to Wastelandz of E.1999 on Mr Ripsta with the Very sick rendition of DA INTRODUCTION, a personal Highlight of the LP. Music wise, there is too much going on that becomes distracting to Bizzy's flow sometimes. He would benefit more using slowed down , darker toned beats. And I know its been said alot that "Bone Need to Go Back To That E.99 Shit!!!" But you know what they say IF IT AINT BROKE, THEN DONT FIX IT!
PS, it didn't help that the album also made bizzy look like a used dildo. I get what they was doing, but...
