But also why on the forst one were they all changed up with different sounds? Hopefully either someone will get in contact with him or maybe he’ll be a gues on Beyond The Harmony....I have TONS of questions for Uneek.

Ya that’s another thing is the alterations to the beats...I can’t even listen to First Of The Momth bc of that banjo sound lol. There’s always a catch with Bone material, either it’s altered or takes 12 years to drop. Just put the original music out before I’m 80 lol. I really wanna reach Eric Nordquist also, he’s another 1 that has went under the radar & nobody has interviewed or even contacted as far as I know & I believe him to have Heavenz Movie & TM99 material as well as others like AOW cut WW3

Id have to compare some others on vol 1 to the songs themselves or like with E1999 instrumental that was released as Thuggish Ruggish Bone remix instrumental on the Foe The Love Of $ cd promo I believe with it having the hook in it so idk if that’s comparable to E99 since the lengths of E99 & Thuggish Ruggish Bone Remix would most likely be different lengths anyway due to them being totally different tracks & lengths vocally. Shit is crazy man...there’s a lot of info out there & interviews but I want some interviews of nothing but questions like this & strictly about the music & certain tracks, releases, time period, process, reasons of never being released or what project it was intended for originally, are there multiple versions or instrumentals to this song, etc...fully in depth about certain tracks.

Ruthless will own the final mastering version used in the song, which is why it would be on the CD sometimes when you bought the single and it had acapella versions etc. The versions U-Neek put out are HIS original versions that aren't the same as the ones Ruthless would end up owning at the end of the day. Notice there's no Ruthless logo on those Vol 1 and 2 releases. Those are versions OWNED by U-Neek that he released on his own (with Bone Thugs Records). He doesn't have the rights to release the final product version you're looking for. And we know Ruthless wasn't ever getting their shit together to release old material or re-release anything of merit. This isn't an excuse for why there's no Volume 3, but points to why there's different versions of instrumentals floating around. Same reason why some of these alternate verses and takes have made their way out, U-Neek or the engineer or the recording studio OWNS those versions because they were never officially released by Ruthless (as long as the studio time was paid for outside of Ruthless, like U-Neek investing in the album himself and then trying to sell it to a label afterwards) (though you don't want to poke the beast too hard releasing very similar versions of songs, could lead to lawsuits). Remember how Uni5 was messed with by Warner according to U-Neek? He should still own those original beats and recordings (look up the Rebirth original or alternate version).

The just a few added things are likely not added, but REMOVED from the final mix, meaning they were there when U-Neek presented them to Bone and did the recording. Then, during mixing/mastering, they didn't fit the song and were phased out. This is how someone like U-Neek can even release these things, he OWNS the original version he created and then is paid (licensed) by Ruthless to use it in a song (the final version), still retaining rights to his original versions he then sells on the side. Assuming there was nothing in a contract preventing him from doing what he wants with those beats since they're actually his, with Ruthless owning the modified versions (final album release version). Probably an oversight by Ruthless because it's not something that was done at the time (producer selling the beats themselves afterwards). I could be wrong, but based on experience and hearing about lots of disputes between record labels and artists/producers/engineers (like someone holding music hostage until payment even if it's not technically their's to hold but they have it), this seems the most likely reason for differences. And yeah, there's a whole section of YouTube where people recreate instrumentals almost exactly and get away with it (not selling them online, but making advertising revenue). So there's a lot of legal grey area.

So there's a lot of legal grey area. Ok so then for the ones that havent been changed and are the exact same beat as whats on the albums, how does he get away with those then? Beats like Shotz 2 The Double Glocc, and Thug Luv just to name a few...or even better how about Thuggish Ruggish Bone (remix) and Mr Bill Collector (which still has the chorus on it!!). Wouldnt those be Ruthless property as well? Again, that makes no sense.

Could be U-Neek could release ALL those instrumentals untouched or the album versions. Don't really know, just going off of what normally happens in music business (contract wise) and stories and interviews we've heard from members and U-Neek through many years (hearing pre-release stuff, seeing how the songs evolve from inception to release, verses being cut yet still existing and being released later in different songs or remixes).

Aren’t they allowed to do that? Surely they’d at least want the die hards to appreciate their hard work before letting it sit & everyone passes away. That’d be more of a disservice to your hard work than giving it away for free if people can’t get on the same page. I don’t know the specifics but I wouldn’t think they’d catch much heat for selling 300 copies lol. Probably not even enough to raise awareness. I could be wrong, who knows. I do know I just want the music regardless paying for it or not
