^^are you saying that when Bone records they spit all thier verses in one shot? Pretty much every video we have of them in the studio shows them doing multiple takes, cutting off at one point and picking up on the next line. Then when they spit acapella verses they also slow it down and mess up...Kray spit the Flow Mo verse acapella like 5 different times and only finished it maybe once. At least I think he finished it, maybe not even once. Do I think Eminem spit that Godzilla verse all in one take? No...probably not. But im sure he can spit fast...its honestly not that hard to do if you practice. As long as you can rap in the first place, you can rap fast. You just gotta keep spittin the verse over and over until you get it. Sounds like your just an Eminem hater...you posted like 10 replies basically saying the same thing i'm a eminiem fan and I love the slim shady lp. I just hate fraudulent speed rap. nothing is wrong with punching in half way thru a verse, cause no 1 can hold their breath rapping fast for 16 bars. but when you punch in 1 word at a time then speed that shit up like you did it all in 1 take fast and clear nonstop, that is cheating. now folks don't know any better all in eminiem comments saying he got mighty lungs and bizzy's not faster than em plus em is clearer than bizzy, we can't understand bizzy…………….these same folks don't even wanna go to bone thugs show and see bizzy rap thug luv anymore cause they think its nothing compared to eminiem fast rapping...…….. em speed his raps up just like ub murda sped up bizzy on Godzilla challenge remix then em build the beat around his sped up, pro tools edited, punched in 1 word at a time ass accapella. listen to the whole Godzilla song with headphones on, when eminiem part comes on you can here the beat is remade on his part. no 1 that is on a song with em is ever in the studio with him when the song is done. I wouldnt say Em’s faster, even if he spit all of it in one take...Bizzy has gone that fast...but I think he is clearer. Not only just in general but its almost like Bone purposly makes themselves hard to understand at times. I dont believe he does 1 word at a time, he has spit fast live. He’s done the Forgot About Dre chorus live which isnt super fast, but its not slow...and im pretty sure he’s done Rap God live too. Which isnt on the level of Godzilla of course, but it just proves he has a little speed. So again, I dont think he spit it all in one take, but I dont think he did it one word at a time. I dont doubt he can rap fast. And anybody that doesnt wanna go to a Bone concert cuz of Eminem never wanted to go in the first place. Bone aint losing no fans over Eminem and his speed raps. On a side note I want to elaborate a little on Bone’s clarity in thier fast raps. Like I said before, I think thier style just makes them hard to understand...I think it sounds dope though. I just wish they gave lyric sheets with the older albums. I wouldnt want the lyrics to be any clearer...they sound dope the way they are. I feel like if Bone spent more time focusing on the clarity of thier lyrics the albums would sound alot different and not as good. I think if Bone gave lyric sheets in thier albums people would’ve appriciated them a little more. When I first started listening to Bone i didnt understand the lyrics much...I just loved the way it sounded...but a few years later when I started looking into the lyrics I was like “oh snap, that IS what he said! Thats dope!”...its like I fell in love with the music all over again. What i’ve always said will never change, even though Eminem is lyrically better than Bone, clearer, and even if he was 10x faster than Bone...90’s Bone cannot be topped to me. Eminem could never in a million years amount to what Bone’s early music means to me. |
