I also cut Uncle Murda off "Change The Story" as well, that's my favourite track of the album together with "Waves". "If Heaven Had a Cellphone" takes the third place for me and worth mentioning is "My Way" even though I'm not a big fan of the hook. I enjoyed the other tracks too for sure, even though the direction of the album wasn't what I was hoping for.
The production was great technically, really professional! What I didn't like about it was that every track sounded like a radio single, you know what I mean? From the beats, to the arrangement (most of the times one verse each with no interaction between the two), the length of the tracks and all of the guest hooks. I understand that the "New Waves" concept was inspired by a lot of modern music, I'm just more of an underground type guy I guess, I prefer more soul inspiration and less fast hi-hats, voice effects and so on and so forth. That's just my personal preference though so I'm not mad at this project at all, it was put together really well and I got to give it up for Krayzie & Bizzy who both did their thing on this project for sure!
One last thing I got to comment on is the interaction. Just as much as the fast-flowing and the harmonising, Bone has always been innovative by having great interaction, which I was missing on this project. Singing hooks together, sharing verses, ad-libbing each other, etc. I hope to see more of that in the future!
