So this is something that i’ve never seen discussed for some reason, which is wierd because it to me it was so strange. We were used to that magical thuggish/melodic sound from 94-97...and then all of a sudden the song War comes out. I remember one day my cousin was telling me he saw a new Bone video, of course I was hype and asked him if the song was good. He said and I quote “I dont know, it’s “different”. Im thinking well it cant be bad, we were coming off of stuff like Art Of War, Notorious Thugs, Days Of Our Lives, Hook It Up. Im not gonna say I hate the song, but its def not one of my favorites to say the least. And it was just strange as hell imo! I dont think it was the best decision of Bone to do that. It kinda turned me off and I was/am a HUGE fan of 90’s Bone...I can imagine how the average listener felt when hearing that from Bone. Who was like the biggest thing furing that time. I’ve always wanted to hear someone ask Krayzie his opinion of them doing that song. Either he was busy with other projects, or maybe he didnt like the idea and thats why he wasnt involved?

What do u guys think? And what was your reaction when you first heard it?
