But its a horrible attempt is what im saying. Listen to the formula on songs like Breakdown, I Still Believe, and even the Dont Forget About Us remix....Lil Love stands out like a sore thumb. Its not a melodic beat they can really harmonize on. Breakdown and I Still Believe were hit singles, and the OG Dont Forget About Us is a smash hit...the Remix doesnt have much Bone unfortunatly and also has Juelz who sounds dumb as hell. If they mDe it a real Mariah and Bone song opposed to a remix just adding a quick section along with a trash rapper it maybe would’ve sounded better. With Lil Love they just totally went off track and it sounded wack. As I said in my og post, I would’ve figured Interscope would’ve understood the formula and why it worked. Not one person between Bone, Mariah, and the staff at Interscope could see the difference in these songs and how bad Lil Love sounded? This is a missed opertunity for another smash hit under thier belts. If they used the previous formula, got another R&B/smooth type beat and made another new and improved Breakdown/I Still Believe, it could’ve pushed S&L even further. Instead Lil Love was a big fat FLOP! I could’ve told you that after the first listen honestly.
