Nothing huge but I guess Bone were the ones who told Naughty By Nature directly that they won the grammy back in 96. I’ve said it before and ill say it again, Bone deserved that grammy and I think Naughty knows they got lucky. Dont get me wrong, I love Naughty By Nature...always did and grew up on them. I mean who doesnt like Naughty. But if you analyze everything its clear. Naughty’s single “Feel Me Flow” is a classic, “Craziest” is a dope song, and the third single “Clap Yo Hands” I never really cared for. The album as a whole is good. But against East 1999 Eternal? No comparison. The biggest game changer the timing of Tha Crossroads. It came out super late after the album. If it was released as the first single, or at least sooner I think they would’ve def won. But even without Tha Crossroads I feel First Of Tha Month is better than Feel Me Flow and East 1999 is better than Craziest. And the album as a whole is no question better than Poverty’s Paradise. I know Bone still got a Grammy for best song but 2 would’ve been better. And they def deserved it. But thats really humble of them to not be upset and congratulate Naughty on the win.
Anyways...around 4:48
Lucky for Naughty fans they’re willing to put out the 25th anniversary release for Poverty’s Paradise! Seems like Bone couldn’t care any less smh! Even Krayzie said he was gonna re-release TM99 but nothings happened yet and he hasnt spoken about it since...less than a month before the years over smh! It would’ve been so fu*kin dope if Bone would’ve re-released Eternal with bonus tracks...AOW too!
