Was just listening to Be Careful, that’s probably my favorite Bizzy song. Ya idk what is going on with him but back in the day he wasn’t on Em as much. As you pointed out the line on the Mike Watts track & I also remember him saying during the Resurrection era in an interview with Julio G that now Eminem is the greatest thing in the world...he was saying it sarcastically but he did kinda gives props towards the line hopping out with 2 broken legs tryin to walk it off. You could just tell he wasn’t on the Em bandwagon back then but now it’s like anytime Em is mentioned he’s acting like he’s the greatest thing in the world & not saying it sarcastically. Em is talented but I don’t like his music really, only some here & there. I can’t ride to that shit. I am glad he’s aiming at all the mainstream tho. I love that

eminem is white bottom line. if he wasnt you wouldnt be saying he's the greatest. bizzy did not like eminem back then. you can tell he still doesnt. hes just being diplomatic cuz he wants to work with dre.

Yea I feel ya man...I wasnt responding to you, I was speaking in general. But yea I can totally respect that. Theres alot of artists that I cant listen to thier music but I know they’re talented like Wayne, Jay-Z, Kanye. Im white and honestly when Eminem first came out I didnt really care for him. I didnt care for the joking kind of rap and I still dont, but I knew he was something great from the moment I heard My Name Is. His style was just in your face crazy and I couldnt believe what I was hearing. I didnt really appriciate him until his third album to be honest... and then I went back and felt his first 2 albums. I think Encore was great but its been hit or miss since that for me musically. Now his music doesnt really feel like music...they arent really songs...its just him going off lyrically over beats. And lyrically he’s always top tier imo, but with his new stuff, it has no replay value. I’ll hear it once and be blown away but that where it ends.

Its just crazy how people still say he aint that good, or he’s not one of the goats. Theres no denying it. But again, im a Bone fan for life and id take Bone over Em anyday!! Nothing compares to 90’s Bone imo...I dont care how lyrical a rapper is...90’s era Bone is just uncomparable to me. Lyrical rap is awesome...I follow battle rap and love it...but it doesnt move me like a Bone song can. 90’s Bone is litterally like drugs to me...it gives me a euphoric feeling. Thats why I personally dont like when Bone tries to get super lyrical...its cool to expiriment and all but Bone is great at what THEY do. Stick to your greatness!

Yep music for me is about feeling & what it does to me, I don’t get that with Em for the most part. He has his moments but he is great at what he does nonetheless. Also I agree 90’s Bone is something in a league of its own as far as how it makes me feel & the state of mind it can put me in. As far as the lyrical thing goes I feel they messed up trying that to some degree bc they definitely have lyrics but I think it goes further than that. The thing with Bone and a lot of great artists is there’s beauty in simplicity. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. They’re capable of doing very complex things and there’s a place for that but they had something great that was very simplistic. They broadened that and gained in some areas but lost major in others. Like they took what they had and broke it only to try and fix it but it never got fixed. I was listening to Thug World Order earlier and it dawned on me the damage had already been done by that point.

    That album had some good points but overall was very forgettable. They had fucked up their formula and most of all their chemistry. This started slightly on AOW when Krayzie started dominating hooks them doing solo stuff etc but it wasn’t overwhelming yet, they still seemed tight but not everyone being even as one basically like E99 but still had good chemistry and great talent. Resurrection is where the chemistry started to take a turn harder but it wasn’t too far gone yet. It was kinda like a friendly competition and they took shots at each other on the album and all that but the mood was switching. They still had great talent and some chemistry just different but still badass. By Thug World Order we had something totally different with the chemistry not the same at all & that’s when Bone seemed to be a different group and has never fully recovered. Hard feelings had probably set in by that point and instead of the vibe being you and your close friends going outside to play back in the day it was more like y’all had been into it a few times and then seeing them at a family reunion and people saying hey did you notice so & so is here and y’all get dragged together to play a game of touch football lol.

Lol that’s the 1st song that came on while I was playing the album that put a smile on my face right when it came on. That is a great song, I remember it catching a lot of heat in the boards too. Ya what you need I gotchu lolol that voice kills me. Like I said the album has its moments, Cleveland is the city is a great track, that’s how the production and vibe should’ve been throughout or at least on that level bc that’s got the Bone vibe but then you get songs like guess who’s back and clearly there had been a change. What about us & Not my baby are great also. That’s basically what I’m saying I guess, there was still hella potential, I feel like they still had hella potential when This Ain’t A Game dropped but there had been a change with the vibes and chemistry by the time TWO hit. It wasn’t totally diminished but it was different.
