So for those living under a rock, Kenny McCloud helped with production on Bones early albums like Creepin On Ah Come Up and East 1999. Always wanted to put a face to these names and we finally get to see and hear Kenny. This would be a great guest on the BTH podcast.
Id also love to hear from Tony C and Erik Nordquist.
Nice, really love interviews like this. He’s great for sure. We’ve seen him before in U- Neek’s most memorable moments with Bone video (which is a great video) but he was talking about them sounding like Indians which is hilarious bc I remember a lot of people back then thinking they sounded Chinese or Indian. Also I agree about interviews with the other producers that would be nice to have. The other day I was listening to that song “Into The Future” and Flesh comes out so hard on that track and for a split second was thinking for the love of God why was this not the lead single for S&L but I remember a comment or reply to somebody that Nordquist had wrote & he was saying something about the situation and he owned Flesh’s vocals or something like that and ended up saying basically Bone didn’t make the shit happen but I do know that Flesh verse is from a track with Knitwit and Erik produced for him so that makes perfect sense. Here’s that vid, it’s near the 10:30 mark
